In a unexpected collaboration that challenges traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of banned rituals and fearsome changes resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden sect.

The adventure focuses on "strange tests and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Material

Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana alongside several objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
